Ashley is making a difference

Ashley is making a difference. At month end they take their own money and spend it to feed the needy.

Ashley helping others

Ashley has been helping to feed people for years. This is such a wonderful quality in someone so young. He works in retail and even with this level of income he and Tsholofelo goes out and reaches people.

Having started giving at age 16, Ashley really inspires me. He does not have any sponsors and yet every month he goes out and finds people that the Holy Spirit has led him to, his is a God given vision. His outreach is blind to color and race, he only sees hunger and need as a qualifying criteria. His lady friend Tsholofelo is helping Ashley with this calling.

What is next for Ashley? Ashley aspires to own his own charity and will call it the Lekalakala Foundation. He will be working on the registration soon. If all goes well his Non Profit Organisation will be up and running by next year.

I can just imagine with such inspiration and desire to help people the Lekalakala Foundation will bring about massive relief. This young man is truly motivated and he inspires me to push through on my own dreams to Get SA Youth Working.

Imagine being down and out, really hungry and tired in a city like Johannesburg and when you wake up someone has left you a sandwich. Just this random act of kindness. No judgement, just this sandwich that will ease your hunger. The provider of this sandwich had no needs of his own, he just saw your need and helped. This kindness will not solve all your problems but for now it’s given you just a spark of being seen as a person and not a burden.
